Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)
  • Welding and Materials Inspection at main fabrication site, subcontractor sites and ad hoc inspection activities across the fabricators supply chain.
  • The effective Welding & Materials Inspection, Reporting, Coaching, Communicating, Collaborating and Challenging Fabricators Welding/NDE teams to realize Consistency, Compliance and Conformity of the WTG Foundation Fabrication scope.
  • Welding & Materials Inspection in accordance with criticality assessments, Inspection and test Plans (ITPs) Employers Requirements, Specifications, and AFC Design and Drawings.
  • Safe working, at all times, compliance with HSE systems and participation with site safety monitoring and reporting of feedback
  • Review of Fabricator data and documentation deliverables to ensure compliance with contract requirements and technical compliance to relevant codes and standards.
  • Review of quality reporting – performance delivery, KPI’s, NCR, Improvement Plans, Audit etc.
  • Providing Welding & Materials Inspection support, advice and guidance on Quality issues to the Client project site team ensuring the effective implementation of professional Quality tools, principles and objectives.
  • As-built Documentation delivery, ensuring this is tightly aligned the project schedule dates throughout project execution – WTG foundation build, completion and load out activities.
Capability profile:
  • Qualified in an engineering discipline, with a focus on technical QA/QC, risk management and QC Inspection in continuous process manufacturing environments.
  • Developed working knowledge of QA, Weld & materials Inspection, NDT, certification, documentation and As-built record compilation.
  • Advanced understanding of QA, QC and Inspection functions.
  • Leading audit and review programs.
  • Technical understanding of Employer, national and international codes and standards (DNVGL, EN, ISO, ASME, AWS, ANSI, PED, ATEX, etc).
  • Detailed Knowledge of fabrication, welding, NDT and quality engineering and testing.
  • Knowledge of Integrity Management.
  • Ability to influence third parties through ownership, coaching, communication, collaboration, challenging and team work.
